For this route, our friends at REI join us to explore a beautiful stretch of the expanding Chester Valley Trail. We'll then make our way into Valley Forge park & take time to visit with history. This route will cover roughly 12 miles, out-and-back.

Bikeout to French Creek State Park

Bikeout are excited to participate with Adventure Cycling's Bike Travel Weekend this June 2-3. On Saturday and Sunday, we'll do an unsupported ride along the Schuylkill River Trail to French Creek State Park, from Center City Philadelphia, and camp out for one night.

National Trails Day

Celebrate America's 50th Anniversary of the National Trails System by visiting Valley Forge for National Trails Day on Saturday, June 2. Try well-loved trails or lesser-known ones that will surprise and challenge you. Have you crossed Sullivan’s Bridge? Climbed to the heights of Mt. Joy and Mt. Misery? Join experienced park staff, partners, and volunteers on guided hikes and walks. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required for most trips. All National Trails Day events are free.

Forbidden Drive Clean-Up

Join us as we spruce up the PA Trail of the Year for 2018—Forbidden Drive—for National Trails Day! Designated a National Recreation Trail in 1975, Forbidden Drive connects users with historic landmarks, 50 miles of natural surface trails, and a regional trail network that makes them into Pennsylvania's countryside on the Schuylkill River Trail and The Circuit.
