Dinosaur Trail

Dinosaur Trail

Share Trail:

The Dinosaur Trail is a proposed connection between the Glassboro-Elk Trail, Chestnut Branch Trail and the Glassboro-Williamstown Trail (Monroe Township Bike Path). It will mostly follow the alignment of Route 55 and will be connected via bike lanes on Good Intent Road to the Gloucester Mt. Eprhaim Trail. Dinosaur Trail gets its name because it will located close to the Rowan University Fossil Park which has two Dinosaur excavation sites that are near the trail. The trail begins in Ceres Park where in 1866 where the first dinosaur related to tyrannosaurus was found.
