Cooper River Trail

The Cooper River Trail is a 10.4-mile trail and is part of the Circuit Trails network, a system of multi-use trails in the Greater Philadelphia and southern New Jersey region that when finished will include more than 850 miles of trails. 

State: New Jersey

Location: Camden County

Trail Length: 10.4 miles

Surface: Asphalt

Status: Open for use

Getting to the Trail

Parking and Public Transportation Options

Parking is available at Gateway Park, 2798 Admiral Wilson Blvd (Pennsauken Township), William G. Rohrer Children’s Playground, 5300 N Park Dr (Pennsauken Township) or Challenge Grove Park, 101 Bortons Mill Rd (Cherry Hill).

If you are taking public transportation, the trail can be accessed from the PATCO High Speedline near the Ferry Ave and Collingswood stops.

Cooper River Park Loop Trail Itinerary

Overview

Loop through the crown jewel of Camden?s park system on a 3.7-mile paved trail. Enroute enjoy a plethora of activities including kayaking or sailing on the river, visit the driving range or play mini golf, tour an historic house, stop for a picnic lunch, watch one of many premier rowing events that are hosted here, and spot a wide variety of wildlife. These are just a few of the many activities that make this an ideal family destination.
