Would you like to be part of keeping Wissahickon Valley Park beautiful and sustainable? Then join us on this special stewardship day to celebrate the Love Your Park Fall Weekend at our planting site by the Red Covered Bridge!

We encourage attendees to work within their own comfort level, and we always strive to accommodate needs on an individual basis. With that being said, this service day may include the following activities:
• Planting: bending over, crouching/squatting, carrying up to 20 lbs
• Invasive plant removal: bending over, raking
• Repetitive motions

We provide gloves, tools, and instruction–you just need to show up! Be sure to wear sturdy footwear and long pants, and remember to bring water with you. Detailed information and confirmation of the meeting location will be sent by email the day before the event. If you are hoping to bring a group of 5 or more people, please reach out to us first. For more information contact Marisa Miller at miller@fow.org

Location: Thomas Mill Covered Bridge, Philadelphia, PA 19118

The meeting location is about a half mile walk/hike from all parking options.
